Course FAQs
Frequently asked questions
Which course should I choose?
The Lithium Battery Fire Safety course covers everyday devices, e-bikes, e-scooters, tools, phones, laptops and home storage. The Safe EV Charging course focuses on charging electric vehicles at home, at work and in public. If both are relevant to you, they complement each other.
How do I access a course after I buy it?
As soon as your purchase is complete, log into your account on our store and open the course from your courses area. Everything runs in your web browser, so there's nothing to download and no app to install.
What device do I need?
Any phone, tablet or computer with a web browser and an internet connection. Your progress saves automatically, so you can start on one device and finish on another.
How long do the courses take?
Around 60 to 75 minutes each, depending on the course. Both are fully self-paced, so you can work through them in one sitting or across several, and pick up again anytime right where you left off.
Do I get a certificate?
Yes. Once you complete the lessons and pass the final assessment (80% to pass), you'll receive a certificate of completion, valid for 12 months. You can retake the assessment as many times as you need.
Is this accredited training?
No. These are awareness-level education courses only. They are not a professional certification, a trade qualification, or a statement of competency, and they do not qualify anyone to perform electrical work, emergency response or firefighting. All electrical work must be carried out by a licensed electrician.
Can you train a team or fleet?
Yes. The courses give every learner the same safety baseline and an individual certificate, which suits workplaces, fleets and building managers. Get in touch and we'll help set up access for your team.
Can I get a refund?
Because these are digital courses you get immediate access to, we're generally unable to offer a refund once you've started. If something has gone wrong, or you've bought by mistake, contact us and we'll help sort it out. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law always apply.
