Course FAQs

Frequently asked questions

How do I access the course after I buy it?

As soon as your purchase is complete, log into your account on our store and open the course from your courses area. It runs in your web browser, so there's nothing to download and no app to install.

What device do I need?

Any phone, tablet or computer with a web browser and an internet connection. Your progress saves automatically, so you can start on one device and finish on another.

How long does it take?

Around 75 minutes in total. It's fully self-paced, so you can work through it in one sitting or across several, and pick up again anytime right where you left off.

Do I get a certificate?

Yes. Once you complete the lessons and pass the final assessment (30 questions, 80% to pass), you'll receive a certificate of completion, valid for 12 months. You can retake the assessment as many times as you need.

Is this accredited training?

No. This is awareness-level education only. It is not a professional certification, a trade qualification, or a statement of competency, and it does not qualify anyone to perform electrical work, emergency response or firefighting. All electrical work on EV charging equipment must be carried out by a licensed electrician.

Is it relevant if I charge in an apartment or at work?

Yes. Alongside home charging, the course covers public, workplace and fleet charging, and the extra risks of shared, underground and enclosed car parks, so it's just as useful for renters, apartment residents, workplaces and building managers as it is for homeowners.

Can I get a refund?

Because this is a digital course you get immediate access to, we're generally unable to offer a refund once you've started it. If something has gone wrong, or you've bought it by mistake, contact us and we'll help sort it out. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law always apply.
